Galway Races
The Galway Races website was designed with a fresh and contemporary feel, aimed at complementing one of Ireland's most popular and successful festivals.
Developed in conjunction with Galway-based event management and PR company Those Two Girls.
Like many organisations that developed initial websites some years ago, the Galway Races felt that their old website design had become dated and was no longer an accurate representation of their market position. The challenge set to Those Two Girls and Impact Media was to create a web design that was fresher, more contemporary and more closely reflected Galway Races as one of the most exciting , progressive and popular racing venues in the world.
The old website was completely restructured. A distinctive colour scheme that tied into the Galway Races logo was applied to create a stronger corporate look and feel. Imagery from previous race festivals were incorporated to evoke the sense of vibrancy and energy that the Galway Races sought and also to introduce a humanistic element. Navigation was also addressed and improved so that the website is far more easy-to-use.
