What did you do before joining Impact Media?
Worked as a radio and print journalist before moving over to the ‘dark side’. That was after doing a masters in English and a post-grad diploma in media production.
Where are you from?
Castlebar, Lower East Side Mayo.
What exactly do you do?
I work with clients who have all kinds of communications requirements - from crisis management to major publicity campaigns. That involves PR planning, media releases, media training and media monitoring. I also work on internal communications strategies for client companies and engage in the odd spot of copywriting.
What’s the best buzz about your job?
Seeing a client’s satisfaction when they get well-deserved positive publicity.
What are your spare time passions?
Documentary-making, music and dogs.
Your one secret (but non-work related) talent.
Great fingers for tying balloons.
What’s your favourite ad of all time?
‘Amazing thing happen high in the Rockies’, for Coors Light. Love the tune and the snow characters.
