Award Winning Seafood Company partners with Impact Media




Founded in 1951, Galway Bay Seafoods have a diverse offering of fresh and smoked fish, and sell both as a retailer and wholesaler, with clients including speciality shops, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and cafés. The company has a level of knowledge, which only a lifetime in the industry could provide, coupled with a passion for customer service and quality which matches the most meticulous of modern organisations. Evidence of this winning combination is their achievement of the first Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM) Seafood Circle ‘Seafood Specialist of the Year’ Award, in January of this year. This new and prestigious award is exclusively presented to seafood retailers that exceed the stringent high standards set by the Seafood Circle, an initiative which recognises and supports retailers and hospitality outlets that consistently offer top quality seafood to their customers.

Their passion for creating a superior service, which has won them the BIM award is now directed towards developing their wholesale business, at home and abroad. With this in mind they began work with Impact Media in October 2009 as their outsourced marketing partner. To date the partnership has encompassed strategic business and brand consultation, presentation skills workshops, product packaging and design of in-store communication materials. This week sees the launch of the new 100gm packaging, which has been in development for the last 2 months.
